About the session
In this presentation, energy demand aspects of the food industry are examined. The lecture covers the following: the main drivers for energy and emissions reduction in the food sector; the work of the Research Councils UK (RCUK) National Centre for Sustainable Energy Use in Food Chains; and case studies on approaches and applications of energy conservation measures in the food industry.
